Timing adjustments with the dialog shown below are pretty straightforward. Adjustments are made at 500-RPM points from 500 to 8000 RPM. Moving a slider up one tick attempts to advance the ignition timing by one degree at that RPM point. The [Save…] and [Load…] buttons do just what they say; that is, they save/load the current settings in the dialog to/from disk. No changes are made to the ECU until the OK button is pressed. Ignition timing adjustments made to the ECU's map with DSMLink are always active, regardless of airflow or throttle position or anything else.
